Michael Saylor predicts that Bitcoin will be worth $13 million per BTC by 2045, with an optimistic scenario of $49 million. His prediction is based on an annual return of 29 percent over 21 years, with Bitcoin representing 7 percent of global wealth, which would imply a total market value of $280 trillion. In a bullish scenario, Bitcoin could reach 22 percent of global wealth, while in a bearish scenario, its value could drop to $3 million. Saylor emphasizes that achieving a 29 percent return requires more institutional money. Currently, the price of Bitcoin is around $64,000. He mentions the need for ETFs that attract new capital annually, companies holding Bitcoin on their balance sheets, countries treating Bitcoin as an official reserve, and banks offering loans with Bitcoin as collateral. Critics point out that his own company, Strategy, has not purchased Bitcoin since late June and recently sold 1,638 Bitcoin for $104.73 million, which is 15 percent below the purchase price. Saylor has never sold his own Bitcoin and emphasizes that Strategy is a public company.
