On August 9, Jiang Zhuoer, the founder of the Liebit mining pool, stated that Bitcoin currently exhibits characteristics of insufficient losses and low volatility, suggesting it is in a bottom-fishing phase rather than a calm bottom. He pointed out that the previous three major bottoms for Bitcoin were accompanied by high losses and significant volatility, which is not the case now. Jiang cited the market situation in 2018, when Bitcoin repeatedly tested the $6,000 mark, which was seen as an unbreakable bottom, but eventually broke below it, dropping to $3,000. Currently, Bitcoin has been consolidating in the range of $60,000 to $70,000 for about two months, similar to the market conditions at that time.
